February might be the shortest month, but it sure felt long with the winter blahs!
We had snow (again), but Mother Nature threw in a couple of surprise 70-degree days—just enough to trick us into having margaritas on the patio.
On the food front, we checked out 16 Prime Steak & Seafood in Denver and had an incredible meal—Tuna Tartare, Mediterranean Octopus, and Sea Scallops. Great portions, absolutely delicious, and we can’t wait to go back! We also hit up Boss Hog BBQ - LKN, where we kept it classic with Boss Hog Burger, a regular Hamburger, tots, and corn nuggets--because sometimes, you just need no-frills, straight-up good food.
Super Bowl Sunday was a win—not for the game or commercials, but because we actually won some cash on the "squares game" at a friend’s house. Unfortunately, Chris got the flu after the party and was basically down for the rest of the month…like half the country, it seems.
Norman wished everyone a Happy Valentine's Day and also had a vet check-up at Veterinary Hospital at the Lake (all good!), while Dana had spinal neck surgery (recovering well but taking it easy), and we've been keeping up with the construction at Lakeside Pointe in Sherrills Ford. We had the chance to tour the clubhouse and several finished model homes—stunning setting and the only large-scale new home community currently being built on Lake Norman.
Here’s to longer days, warmer temps, and hopefully way more exciting recaps next month! #PapemoreRealEstate #LakeNormanLife #FebruaryBlahs
