While their primary focus is on lakefront homes and the communities surrounding Lake Norman, Chris and Dana have successfully represented clients throughout the greater Charlotte region. Their experience spans luxury properties, VA loans, military relocations, and downsizing transitions, supported by designations including MRP, Guild Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, and SRES.

Meet Dana Pape — Realtor, Veteran, & Talented Painter
Dana Pape served more than 20 years in the United States Air Force, both enlisted and as an officer. She was the first woman in her unit to earn jump wings and completed advanced water and combat survival training. As an Aerospace Physiologist, Dana trained over 6,000 pilots using altitude chambers and the U.S. military’s only human centrifuge at the time.
That same discipline and attention to detail now define her work in real estate, where she thrives in complex, fast-moving environments. Dana is also the founder of LKN Vets & Patriots and serves as a board member for Welcome Home Veterans at Richard’s Coffee Shop, supporting military families across the Lake Norman area.

Outside of real estate, Dana expresses her creative side through oil painting, bringing the same attention to detail, composition, and perspective that define her work with clients.
Meet Chris Pape — Realtor, Strategist, & Creative Professional
Chris Pape began his career as an award-winning video producer, traveling internationally to create visual stories for a wide range of audiences. After marrying Dana in 2004, he embraced the challenges of military life and frequent relocations, adapting his career along the way.
Noticing a lack of resources for male military spouses, Chris founded Macho Spouse, an online platform supporting that community. His significant contribution to military families and veterans earned him recognition as U.S. Air Force Spouse of the Year in both 2014 and 2015.​
Those years of moving sparked his interest in real estate, where he developed a strong appreciation for communication, strategy, and client advocacy. Today, Chris brings a creative, detail-oriented approach to real estate while enjoying time on the lake with Dana and being an active member of the Charlotte Handball Club.
Norman, aptly named after the large body of water that brought Chris and Dana to North Carolina, is a Lab-mix rescue puppy from Lancaster Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (LSPCA). Like his mommy and daddy, Norman enjoys swimming in the lake and chasing the neighborhood squirrels (well, the swimming part… Dana and Chris do not chase the neighborhood squirrels - at least most of the time).
